Lauder Institute of Management & International Studies combines a world-renowned Wharton MBA, a Master’s in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Arts & Sciences and customized language training. Degree Requirements

Graduates of the Lauder Institute will receive an MBA degree from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies degree from the School of Arts & Sciences, and a Language Proficiency certificate based upon an oral proficiency interview certified by Language Testing International (LTI).

  • For the MBA: 19-21 credits
  • For the MA in International Studies: 14 credits plus a research project/paper
  • "Superior" language proficiency rated by LTI

Details for the class of 2010 (MBA/MA)

The University of Pennsylvania allows you up to six consecutive years in which to complete your degree, should additional time be necessary.  This means that you have an additional four years beyond your original completion-of-program date.  In order to remain eligible, however, you must maintain continuous registration until you complete all remaining requirements.  Here are links to the University’s rules for graduate degrees.
